His parents, Winston and Carnetta were happy when a bundle of joy entered their home on December 4. Born in the cool hills of St. Mary, Coniel Morgan grew up in a little town known as Highgate. He is the 8th of 11 children for his parents of which he is the youngest male.
In 1982, Coniel attended his first school, Highgate Basic School. Since then, he has attended several training institutions: Harmony Hall Basic School; Highgate Primary & Junior High School (formerly Highgate All-Age School); St. Mary High School; and Port Maria High School. He graduated from Port Maria High School in 1999, and in the same year, enrolled as a student at Northern Caribbean University.
Throughout his academic journey, Coniel proved to be an outstanding student copping certificates for excellence and awards for most disciplined and punctual student. These were not achieved through a dull and rigid life. He has participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities such as: spelling bee, track and field, football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, choir, and drama. He is the former President of the Northern Caribbean University Church Youth District Federation, and the Manchester Adventist Youth Federation District Representative to the same Church. Coniel is the founder and former president of the North Jamaica Club (formerly North Jamaica Mission Club). As president of the club, he has led the club to become the number one religious club on campus. He held the position of Director for the Dorado Adventurer Club of Northern Caribbean University Church from September 2004-February 2008. Throughout his tenure as director there, Coniel has also led the club to cop the second-place award for the best adventurer club throughout the entire Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has also served as the Lay Preachers Federation Representative to the Clermont District of Churches in St. Mary.
Coniel is a motivational speaker, and poet, He has taught private sign language classes in the past. He has been involved in several evangelistic campaigns, in Jamaica and the United States, including Crusades, Revivals, and Week of Prayers – leading many souls to the Lord. He is married to Sharlett. The union has produced a son, Coniel Joash Morgan. Pastor Morgan has served in the Spalding, Linstead, Portmore, Spanish Town, Clear Park, Central Village and Braeton District of Churches. He has served as Head Boy of the Port Maria High School, the District Pastor for the Comfort Hall District of Seventh-day Adventist Churches and Secretary & Public Relations Officer of the Ministerial Professional Association. He also served as the First Vice President of the Magil Palms Citizens Association.
He is currently serving as Adventist Possibility Ministries Coordinator at the Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and Pastor for the Seventh-day Adventist Deaf Church in Portmore, and Associate Pastor at the Portmore Church (SDA). He also gives support to the Prayer Ministries at the Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and he is a member of the Recreation, Online Worship, and Retirement Committees within the same conference. Pastor Morgan is a member of the Possibility Ministries and Prayer Ministries Task Force at the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He also serves as a volunteer chaplain in the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Coniel has completed the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry at Northern Caribbean University.
