Pastor Adrian Cotterell

Jamaica Union Conference of SDAs Possibility Ministries Director
Pastor Adrian Cotterell serves as a Director st the Jamaica Union Conference of SDA. He is responsible for Sabbath School and Personal Ministries, Adventist Community Services, Possibility Ministries and Mission.
He is instrumental in planting the first Deaf Congregation in the Inter- American Division of the Seventh-day Adventists World Church.
He is an ordained minister who served the East Jamaica Conference as President for nine years and served on several Boards and Committees and is responsible for planting several congregations, the Good Samaritan Inn, and the GSI Foundation
He also served as District Pastor in the parishes of St. Thomas, Portland, Kingston and St. Andrew and as SDA Chaplain for the University of the West Indies, Kingston, University of Technology, and the College of Arts Science and Technology, Portland. He also served as Instructor for Northern Caribbean University for three Years.
Pastor Cotterell served as Bursar/Teacher for the Portland and Kingsway High Schools for three years consecutively. He taught Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Commerce. He is a strong supporter of SDA Christian Edcation and served also as Chairman for the Kingsway High School Board of Governors, the Portland High School, Buff Bay Academy, New Hope, Hagley Park, Woodford and Miramaur schools
He studied Business Administration at West Indies College, now Northern Caribbean University, Mandeville, Jamaica and holds a Bachelors Degree in Theology from this institution. He earned a Masters degree in Religion from Andrews University, Michigan, United States of America.
Pastor Cotterell was born in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, and grew up on the borders of Clarendon and Manchester.
His Civic Responsibilities involve serving as the past Chairman and presently member of the Committee for The Promotion of National Religious Services. He served as a member of the National Prayer Breakfast Committee and serves presently as Justice of the Peace for Jamaica.
He is married to Dr. Tez Brown-Cotterell and is the father of two sons, Adrian and Antwan.
